François-Xavier Coudoux (M’07–SM’17) received the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Valenciennes, Valenciennes, France, in 1991 and 1994, respectively. He is currently in digital image/video processing and communications at the Univ. Polytechnique Hauts-de-France (UPHF, UMR CNRS 8520). Since 2004, he has been a Professor with the Department of Opto-Acousto-Electronics, UMR 8520, Institute of Electronics, Microelectronics, and Nanotechnologies, Valenciennes, France. His research interests include telecommunications, multimedia delivery over wired and wireless networks, image quality, and adaptive video processing.
